i would think that if someone who buys trains (any scale/gauge/whatever) that if the train is being displayed, then it would be considered a ‘model’. while at the same time, if that same train is used on a layout, it would be considered a ‘toy’, albeit an expensive ‘toy’…whatta yall think???
