Toronto, Ontario morning commutor

Hi guys:

Although not train related, this is interesting and can provide some humour for folks to lighten up:

Three factoids about raccoons:

  1. Toronto, “The coon capital of the world” is supposed to have the biggest raccoons to be found anywhere. (I believe it, too!)

  2. Raccoons are actually a type of small bear.

  3. They are territorial creatures of habit; their territory will cover several city blocks which provide for all their needs, and which they patrol on a predictable route every night.

Hi John:

Initially, I was wondering if the “racoon” was yourself wearing a Racoon coat !

Interesting animals. Cute, kind of like the Panda bear.

Too bad that they love to tear garbage bags apart and drag the contents all over as they decide what to eat.
