Nice little locos.

TAC;

Thank you for the fine video. I must sheepishly admit that I was half through the video before I realized that Prince William was the diesel and not one of the royal newlyweds. Honestly, I kept trying to see him in the coach.

Best,
David Meashey

Ah, sorry about that. Same guy tho’. When you are a person of note you often get locomotives names after you. Although you usually have to be dead first.

“When you are a person of note you often get locomotives names after you.”

TAC;

I know what you mean. My imaginary Brandywine & Gondor Railroad currently has locomotives named Samwise Gamgee and Peregine Took. There will be a Bilbo Baggins, and - if I ever get the mechanisms with the cylinders and valve gear - a Beyer-Garrett named Aragorn. I like trains and The Lord of the Rings, so why not combine the two?

Best,
David Meashey

My K27 is named “Chile John”, in honor of an good friend, now gone.

Bob - that is a great way to remember a friend. I’m of the opinion that anybody doing the same for me will call their loco ‘Oh, Him’. :slight_smile:
