After getting some more work done on the railroad I couldn’t resist to run a train. I needed to test the ballast work anyway. lol.
Chessie System got my interest right away!
Another great video. Like the graffiti. (http://www.largescalecentral.com/externals/tinymce/plugins/emoticons/img/smiley-cool.gif)
Looking good. I like near the end when it sounds like the engine is working up a grade or it could have been the extra long train it was pulling at that point.
Great video, Matt. I enjoy the track level shots. Makes the trains more realistic. Thanks for sharing.
I like the moss on the track in front of the hopper car at the 1:33 mark , looks great.
Thanks guys!!
Forrest, I like the old days. Pretty much all that made up the CSX now.
Thanks Ron, seems like not everybody is a fan of the graffiti, but I like it too.
Todd, I had to go back and watch the video. I didn’t even notice that. I did sound like it was notching up. lol. Train wasn’t too long. I think it was only 15 cars with the caboose. The grade is deceiving. With the retaining wall blocks going one way and the track going the other it looks steep. But in that part of the video…it’s almost level. lol.
Thanks Dan!
Mike…hmmmm…wonder where I got that idea from. This guy todus2 may have posted something familiar to that. lol. Gotta give ya props!!
Sup cuz!!! (http://www.largescalecentral.com/externals/tinymce/plugins/emoticons/img/smiley-cool.gif)
nice video Matt. Big fan of the graffiti, and great weathering on the UP boxcar
Thanks Pete. But, I can’t take credit for the UP Boxcar. I bought it and the 3 rail gon’s off Marty Cozad. (http://www.largescalecentral.com/externals/tinymce/plugins/emoticons/img/smiley-cool.gif)
