How come, when I was 30, I could play full contact football in 95 degree F temp, with 98% humidity, and now, it is a major effort just to do a good brisk sit in that kind of weather?

I used to work out in this stuff all day and it never bothered me. Now, a half hour and I’m drenched, and the ice tea pitcher is takin a beatin…

The hottest we have had is mid 70’sF but some mornings have been unpleasantly humid. Living close to the sea often means that the weather here varies from one part of the day to the other. Tidal influences play their part. It also means that the grass needs cutting weekly…aaargh.
It’s delightful here this morning - Finally a break. I think I’ll have my breakfast on the porch.
