was over on the GR site for the first time in several months and was saddened to see Tom Trigg had passed away on August 8. He was one of the first to help get me pointed in the right direction when the G Scale bug bit me. He always seemed like the guy you just want to sit down with and just listen to his stories, Prayer to his family and if I may quote one of is last few posts, “Soon I will be in the apartment above my wife”. Thanks for your help getting me started,Tom. you will be missed.
Yes he will be missed, quite a guy, Bill
I never met him in person but on the forum he was a good friend.
He took me from “thinking about a railroad” to “building a railroad.” I owe him quite a bit, and, yes, he will be missed.
Eric, it seemed to me like he took a real personal interest in helping you with getting your RR started and running. Guys like him are few and far between and we are all a little poorer with him gone.
Tom was one of the few people who ihad the pleasure to meet. I knew Tom before that from the GR forum, I did a cad drawing for him for his layout and sold him some of my kitbashes, i knew something bad was up when he posted going into a hospice, I know he missed his wife alot so I hope they are together again.
