Tom thumb train

There is a site on how to build a Tom humb steamer. It included all the parts and where to find them. Anyone have that link? I want to try making one someday. A freind of mine built one and itsa neat little engine.

I got the site i was looking for. http://www.panyo.com/mso/BPE.htm

My wife got me the Mid West Heritage steam engine for X-Mas. I have wanted to build the above Tom Thumb steam train when I first saw it a few years ago. Now that i have some understanding on live steam I figured it would be a cool project and maybe help me learn more about live steam in hopes of one day building a class A climax steam engine. This is another reason for me building a portable layout. The Tom Thumb is not good on grades, it needs flat track. Until X-mas I will start gathering the materials I need.

Gee Shawn,
Have you got enough projects going
Glad to see someone is getting things done
I’ve really been a slacker lately =(

LOL I always wonder why I never get a chance to sit down and my days off fly by.

Well,
I’ve not been “sitting down” much lately either. Just have so many other things to do.
This entire year has just gone by so fast…
I hope I can get back to my trains after the Holidays

Relaxing is an art form …it needs practice and careful study…I have it down to a science…
