I know that we haven’t seen this guy lately, but he is ready for his debut.
As was said, “Don’t go messin’ with the Pecos Pinata!”

lol I willing to bet that is a large scale first
Those tomb stones are great. Now you might need to model a “Boot Hill” graveyard.
The pinata is funny.
As always, the devil is in the details. Unfortunately, this pic uses the last of my freight shed space.
Great work Todd. Every part of this build is full of some hilarious detail. Love em all. Beyond that some, great methods and materials were used here with really convincing results. Humm… are those poor souls with their last smokes allowed to roll their own? Hard to tell from this angle but his facial expression is surprisingly content.
Yes, this is California and they can definitely roll their own, and are encouraged to share with others. Remember, I promised that there would be group involvement and people would be able to pitch in and help out. The best is yet to come. Problem is that I now have NO picture space left! (http://largescalecentral.com/externals/tinymce/plugins/emoticons/img/smiley-yell.gif)
Too many Taylor’s in that town, reminds me of another western town…
You don’t have space because you post full pixel pics, they take forever to load on my string and tin can DSL. Stop complaining and reduce them please.
John
I went through and deleted a bunch of pics from my album, so theoretically, I should now have some space there.
There is a better way. The rest of us reduce our pics to 800 pixels wide and get by just fine. Deleting pics has deleted them from threads previously posted… kinda ruins the archives.
If you were paying for the storage then full resolution would be ok, but as a freebie we adjust our pics. I use a free pic viewing program; FastStone pic viewer, the editor is easy to use, there are other progs as well.
oh well, since I can’t afford a faster service, I guess I’ll have to put up with your pages loading slow …
John
I can’t go back and remove and resize and repost and get this thing done in time.
What I can and will do/have done is deleted pics that are not really relevant to anything and reduce future pics to ~1080 wide, which is just under 1MB.
I wasn’t even aware that they load slowly. They come up instantly on my machine.
Todd I learned the hard way. There is physical size and then there is quality which also effects size. I get mine reduced to 400ish pixels tall. Then I also reduce their quality a bunch. By the time I store them on the freight shed they are around 60KB
Todd, I like what you are doing to the neighborhood. Your town needs to weed out those that need to be 6’ under. Having a “Boot Hill” graveyard will do the trick.
Great job.
The structure is now complete. I probably won’t get all of the accompaning figures repainted in time though. (http://largescalecentral.com/externals/tinymce/plugins/emoticons/img/smiley-frown.gif)
I would like to pose the various “scenarios” on the railroad tomorrow (think multi-tasking and audience participation), but it’s been raining and may continue. Obviously, this is used for Fiesta Fridays.
That looks great
Oh Crap!!!
The rains are over, but today we have Santa Ana winds. I live in the Santa Ana Canyon that the winds are named for, and it is blowing like the Devil out there.
I may have to pose this indoors:

It’s where I go whenever I want to be executed. (http://www.largescalecentral.com/externals/tinymce/plugins/emoticons/img/smiley-cool.gif)
OK, I cleared out enough space to get some pics up.
The weekly schedule is as previously posted. Included are pics of some of the activities involved:
Fiesta Fridays are always a big draw. In this case, the Low Rider train came to bring in the Vatos to join in:
Here you can see the crew setting up for a Manic Monday. I appears that the Taylor gang had been captured and are about to receive their just desserts.
The prisoners are brought in…
The first of the Taylors, and (nicely tailored too!) is allowed a final smoke.
…while Dead-Eye Dora queues up. Dead-Eye Dora never misses!
Here we see a typical Dunk Tank Tuesday where the townsfolk take delight in dunking those charged with public drunkenness. It would seem that Larry the Lounge Lawyer is a regular in the tank.
Seems like no matter how hard ole “One-Ball” Angus tries, he keep “throwing up bricks” trying to drop Larry. Luckily “Dead-Eye” is standing by.
Finally, this shows a typical Summer Saturday Social gathering where the dunk tank is used for recreation prior to further pleasures. Looks like ole “One Ball” is at it again.
Babs is up:
…and she’s down!
Todd this is one of the greatest builds. Not just because the build itself is nice but all the crazy ass details you have going on and the whole themed days is just awesome. Love the signs.
