To those who are Dads

Happy Fathers Day. Hope you have a day of ease.

Happy Fathers Day to you too, Hollywood.
I thought I might run trains today, but the weather is not cooperating =(
Ralph

Gee Ralph, it sounds like your weather is like ours, sucks!! Thankfully Friday was nice so I could run at TOC opps TOG for the first timw in about five (5) months, the withdrawals were a real bear! But was warm and ‘sunny’, for western Washington that is! I’ll go work on a piece of rolling stock since I can not run!

Paul

Happy Fathers day. I gt to run some trains today. We finally had nice weather.

Weekend weather was great both days. Didn’t get out in the garden or the railroad as we spent both days out on the lake. Both kids have moved away so it was a quiet day. Did get to see all of Marilyn’s brothers kids though ). Gonna go grill myself a nice chicken dinner right now!

Major family wedding this weekend, but was allowed 5 hours of my own time to assist with AndyC’s open house. It was hot, but it was great!

A day of ease? Hmmm? That is subjective isn’t it? We skipped church so I got to sleep in, woke up, and decided to mow the lawn before my father and step mother showed up. We took them to dinner and treated them to a Kenny Rogers concert at Seneca Allegany Casino. Then home for a breif while and off to get ice cream with an old friend who was in town for her classes Alumni Weekend 25 years for her. A really nice day but no trains unfortunately.

Hope everyone got to enjoy the day!

Chas

After church, I spent a beautiful afternoon and evening at the Botanic playing trains.

I heard from all three of my children.

The one in Naval Base Rota, Spain called to announce the birth of his 4th child, a cute little girl. In his excitement, he forgot about Father’s day. He is forgiven.

This make 7 grandkids.

I wonder if the one in Rota has figured out that it is not the water…
