I hope you all have a Great day!
Indeed, Thank you to all those brave Americans who did their part !
Agreed. Thanks to all the veterans out there.
This is a picture of my dad (On the dozer) somewhere in the Pacific during WWII. He was in XXIV Corps.
I was pretty little on a chilly day when Mom was wondering if the “vets” were having a parade.
I wondered why animal doctors would be having a parade.
Thank you to my fellow US Veterans of all wars (eras) and our allies from Australia, Canada and the United Kingdom with whom I spent many days in the sand. It was a privilege to stand with you.
I would also like to thank all of the volunteers and members of the USO on its 75th Anniversary. At different times I was fortunate enough to see performances by Drew Carry, Ryan Stiles, Mimi Rogers, Joan Rivers, Robin Williams and Toby Keith.
I am especially grateful to all of the volunteers and staff, former and current who work at the USO at Baltimore Washington International Airport. I passed through there many times and you always made the trip better.
F Troop, 17 Cav. 196 LIB, Quang Tin Prov. RVN.
It’s a rare picture of Ken without a hat.
I have one of me with hair…at my Dad’s retirement ceremony…he retired as a Colonel, with over 30 years service, including his enlisted service in WWII.
Boomer 2005, USAF EOD, JIEDD Task Force Iraq. Which means I was on loan to the Army. They made me shave off my mustache.
Boomer in his natural habitat. Don’t feed the animal.
Doing the job. Making little things out of big things…
Thank you Ladies and Gentlemen who have served in the Armed Forces. Some use spent our time in the Reserve Program, wondering if we would get called and maybe hoping it never came. Enjoy the DAY and the life.
E. Paul Austin LCDR USNR-Ret
Thank you all.
Now I will have to dig through all of my old pictures to find one of me.
Dad was with the Persian Gulf Command in WWII. I am gathering his stuff to go to the World War II Museum in New Orleans.

Thank you all for your service. Our country may not have been what it is today without you. Veterans please enjoy the day.
Thanks to my fellow vets for serving along side. We were better as a team then standing alone. I will never forget those that didn’t make it back to the states on their own.

AMEN!
Veterans Day is not to be confused with Memorial Day, a U.S. public holiday in May; Veterans Day celebrates the service of all U.S. military veterans, while Memorial Day honors those who died while in military service.
