I have been doing business with Ridge Road Station for years has been a real pleasure and still is for they go out of their way to make one happy as in my recent orders. That’s great and so are they.
Now then on the other hand, I have been doing business with GarGraves tracks products for a few years and have never been charged a shipping fee until now. I made an order two weeks ago and paid for the items. Later I found that they had charged for shipping and they never mentioned that when I talked to them placing the order. I called and asked about the added cost and then they mentioned about shipping costs so why they didn’t tell me since they never charged me before? Ah well !
Been using eBay for 12 years or so with only a minor problem once. Received three shipments from notable train places in the last three weeks and the items were either wrong thing or missing pieces. All three did say it was their fault and refunded my money. But, is this an on going thing now?
Oh well ! I guess its time to start to ask every question I can think of with anyone or all when doing business about the costs etc and what I am exactly buying before giving out my money.
Seems our way of trusting is slowly eroding into mistrust. Your version just might be the same. Gee, I hope not !
