Large Scale Central

Thomas and the High Speed Train

The Sir Topham Hatt feels that steam engines are too dirty and the passengers would appreciate a modern, clean and fast replacement, but things don’t work out as he had hoped.

Filmed on the Sandwell Valley Railway - a G Scale garden railway in the UK. For up to date news about the railway visit http://sandwellvalleyrailway.blogspot.co.uk.

That video is superb and very clever.

Well done Keith.

I love the stone viaduct on that railroad.

Thats the trouble with them newfangled, cantankerous, locomotives. The technology is too new, and the bugs haven’t been worked out yet. Steam is a proven, reliable technology.

A well done video.

Sir Topham Hatt getting stuck in again

“Three cheers for the Fat Controller!”, love it  Yes, the stone viaducts look grand, and, that metal bridge with the bolts and the brass railings is also quite attractive in its own mechanical way.
You know, there is nothing quite like solid objects in the sunshine for these kinds of shows.

Welcome Keith

Your landscaping is beautiful …I’m envious of the weeping willow tree

Nice video.

Thanks

Really nice job. I love the real people shrunk to scale and inserted in the scenes. How you did that is light years beyond my video skills! Thanks.

Wow. What a great welcome and what fantastic comments. I’m blushing here.

Putting the people in is really very simple - the software does all the clever stuff.

I’ve been filming a new video over the last few days. This one is more ambitious - as well as real people, hopefully the locomotives will talk too. I should have finished the editing in a couple of weeks and will post it on the forum.

Bravo!
The kids and I just watched…3 times.
My 2 oldest boys asked for and got a video camera for Christmas for filming their trains!
Matter of fact we improved our flat car mount this afternoon whilst filming Thomas (along with GI Joe and friends).
Welcome in and please keep us in the loop!
