9 miles this morning. No problems. Isn't it bedtime yet?

It’s rather amazing, actually. Just 2 months ago, here to the door would have been an awful long way to run, though I could walk all day long.
Great job Tom,
I too, can walk for hours. I’m not as bad off as I make myself out to be.
I’m also not in as good shape as I’d like to be.
Ralph
Remember, Tom, you are doing this for the rest of us!
Hope you enjoy the health benifits but none of the injuries of my madness
3 miles in 38 minutes this morning. Almost the 12 1/2 minute per mile training goal.
See Tom run.
I’m totally exhausted, just reading that Tom is running…
My knees hurt just thinking about it!
You go, Tom!
Not as fast today. 4, 15 minute miles.
7, oops 7 1/4 miles in the rain Saturday. Fastest pace I’ve ever done. Running in the rain wasn’t particularly unpleasant except I kept getting salty sweat in my mouth.
I always enjoyed running in the rain, but then I have a rather perverse nature.
12 miles yesterday. I’m pooped!
It seemed a long, slow slog, but I did in in 2:53 and the trainers say I’m right on track.
Chicago Distance Classic half-marathon is week after next.
Congrats on your progress!
Hey Tom
You should Marathon train the way we do here in L.A.:

Have you running 26 miles in no time
That’s funny!
