Meanwhile, back on Earth, I’ve asked a friend with whom I shoot to buy a half dozen large-capacity .223 magazines next time he sees any up for grabs.

I’ll bring the ‘discussion’ back to the present gun-grabbing intentions of your new president and his cronies for those who wish to take part in THAT part of the thread on ‘gun grabbing’.

…and leave the ecclesiastical word-splitting, arguments on the existence of G*d or not and discussion about the validity of the bible to those with a more religious bent than I have.

Here in The People’s Republic of California we are limited to 10 round magazines for guns like the Ruger Mini 14 carbine. Should I choose to use such a weapon in home defense, I guess I would just have to ask the attacker to wait while I drop an empty magazine and insert a new one.

High quality, higher capacity magazines (20, 30 round) for the Mini 14 are still available where legal. See:

Before someone writes that it would be best to dial 911, I most assuredly would, but then consider that on a good day (or more likely night), our county’s sheriff’s deputies are approximately 45 minutes away.

Since our neighborhood is over-run with illegal immigrants having no means of support, especially during the current economic downturn, the possibility of needing a home defense weapon is significantly increased. Fortunately there is no way yet that the ‘authorities’ can force a person to put fewer rounds into a magazine fed high capacity pistol without looking into every bedroom in the U.S. At the moment, Obama and Holder seem occupied elsewhere, but there is still 4 or 8 years to go.

Genesis 1:26-27 Man and woman were created at the same time.
Genesis 2:7, 21-22 Man was created first, woman sometime later.

I’ll just pick one here. Obviously you didn’t check, don’t understand, or don’t want to know what the Bible actually says. I answered this one before so I’ll answer it again for you

Genesis 1:
26 ¶ And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth.
27 So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them.

Above explains He created Man!

Below is more detail on how He created Adam and Eve.

Genesis 2:
7 And the LORD God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living soul.

21 And the LORD God caused a deep sleep to fall upon Adam, and he slept; and he took one of his ribs, and closed up the flesh instead thereof.
22 And the rib, which the LORD God had taken from man, made he a woman, and brought her unto the man.

No contradiction. I know you believe you MUST right, a legend in your own mind, perhaps. But you obviously are out of your league in this, in the US Constitution and what constitutes “scientific evidence” .

It seems from Funk’s post, you have a talent that I recommend to stay with. Christianity, for one, is not your forté.

And all that really means what? I correct my assertion, there are no contradictions of substance in the Bible. I have read and studied the Bible. This is not the first time I have heard this objection, and frankly I am bored of your “spin”, your attempts to incite. You NEVER want the answer to any question you ask, it is only to find another twist or turn to insult or condemn.

Got a neat little x4 Burris im matching silver on ours. Cute little item. Sadly, over here in yUK we have not had semi-auto centre-fires since 1988. But hey, I spend asmuch of my time as I can relieving this place of the burden of my company.

Back to multiple gun cleaning - we had a guest day today, and I took seven along with me for the many guests to try out - a GREAT time was had by all. Trouble is, I now have seven to clean before they can go away again.
