After decades of pressure from the ICC and various trainmens unions the management of the WV&K NG line has finally decided to start fitting out new construction with knuckle couplers.
This is the casting used to convert LNP cars to Knuckles, with the special jig used to properly center the casting (Patent Pending) The casting has a hole in it that the Bachmann coulpler is inserted into, and a standard HiTech, Low Drag, LNP Coupler pin is inserted.
In a pinch the pin can be pulled, and the casting itself used as an adaptor for coupleing to cars that are still LNP equipped!
