…or any resemblance to reality. 
I guess the implication is: GN would have kept the engines sparkling clean. Would they have made money that way? Or just looked pretty?

HJ, here on the Great Northern Pacific and Santa Fe Railway Company, LLC (GNPSFRyCo), we use the philosophy of “Brown.” Run the locomotives through the washrack at each fuel stop. :lol:
