Hi all,

As mentioned in another thread, one of the members on the RhB Forum got a LGB V200 (rare!) out of Germany, then discovered that the one axle was missing the drive gear. So he made one, but then he decided to send LGB® an email. Two days later he received a reply. “Yes, we have the proper part (axle with gear), we will ship it directly to you, free of charge!”

I let you know when he gets it! Just shows that those who are still transporting all that hot air deserve the moniker “Ventilators” as much as they did last year! Of course that is strictly my opinion! :wink: :slight_smile:

are you saying the V200 was German made, German boxed and not made in China. I have seen items made in China (stamped all over them), but package states ‘Made in Germany’.

What I’m saying is “Assembled in Germany”. :wink: :slight_smile: But apart from that, looks like LGB®Märklin has the parts on hand and - in this case - will provide them free of charge to the customer - direct. No dicking around with X, Y or Z! Directly to the customer or as the customer put it

I am keenly interested to hear from those who presently have LGB items for repair at LGBoA, how is the progress?? ;) :) Any surprises?

Oh dear! Marvin, your memory is failing, the EPL assets Märklin bid for were awarded to them on July 27th 2007. Up to that point the insolvency trustee was in charge, supposedly ably assisted by "The Boys", who as far as became known where also on Schöntag's payroll to the bitter end. :(
