Well it was a fine day when I walked out to my shed to get my miter saw.
It sat up on the shelf just next to the back door.
I grabbed the plug and the handle of the saw,and picked it up and carried it to the door where there was more light and sat it on the floor.
I needed this to cut my trim pieces.
I walked around to the cart to move it closer to the door. That’s when I realized I Still had the plug for the saw in my hand. ??
Wait wire is 5 ’ long I’m 12’ from the saw. ??? Sure enough I only had the plug and about 1 foot of wire in my hand.
I went back to the saw and there was no wire there. I went in the shed and there laid 3 more pieces of wire on the shelf.
Well thats no good there. I guess this project my not get done before Christmas.
I spread moth balls on the shelf and around the door. I think thats where they are entering. I think I found the nest. Friday while I’m out I will pick up a can of gas. I will start it and shove it down the hole.

mice did the same thing to a number of my extension cords I use for my Christmas light display. I have a number of poison packs out now for them.

My neighbor has one of them diminutive “smart cars”.
They have to keep a ziplock bag of moth balls under the car in the driveway…rats eat the vegetable-based (read “green”) wiring insulation.
$3K damage last time I talked to them.
Stick with an old flathead Ford and have no troubles…all they produce today is garbage…
Nothing is “Made in North America”, any more…maybe a bit in Mexico…and we wonder why there are no jobs.
I just bought a box of “Q-tips”…doesn’t even say where they are made…just says “Imported by Unilever”…we can’t evem produce such a thing in North America, and they are basicly a bit of COTTON on a plastic stick. Cotton used to be a major agricultural product in the USofA…where is it imported from now…CHINA…
All so some executive can say he saved 1/50th of a cent per carton of Q-tips and take home a million dollar bonus, while the Noth American unemployed form lines.....great free world we live in isn't it ?“Mynoks … probably chewing on the power cables…”
