Now that the weather has cooled down a bit, I was able to try out the new electronics and loading platforms at Lizard Lane and the Aerial tram on the Tortoise & Lizard Bash. This shows the new platforms and where the trains stop after slowing, prior to occupancy by the structures and figures. Note that the grey tile was all existing pieces left over from when we redid our bathroom many years ago. All of the pieces were fit together as you see then and no new tile was cut, (though edges were rounded on a sander).
For those pieces leading up the hill, once I’ve established how they are to fit, I use Goop to put brass sheet along the bottom to hold them together. I can then place the piece on the slope in its entirety, and bend those portion to level as I see fit once in place.
