The Scandinavian Connection

Hi all, How familiar am I with trolls?? Ahhhh, since I lived in Trollhättan (Troll’s hat - Sweden) for six months (Winter of 66/67) I just had to find out what Trolls and their hats were about. This was w-a-y before anyone even contemplated the Internet BTW Trollhättan at that time was the home of NoHAB - builder of railway equipment. They built the double ended F-units under licence from GM.

MY 1102, 1954 - Trollhättan Sweden © Copyright P.Matsson, Sweden Trollhättan was/is also the home of the Saab cars and Flygmotor which still is the aeronautical arm of Volvo. In short: interesting town, nice people, but the winters are r-e-a-l-l-y l-o-n-g. I learned “a bit” of Swedish but remember very little - 40 years are a long time if one doesn’t use the language.

Oh ,I thought were talkin about my family in Wisconsin !

You have family in Wisconsin?
