Large Scale Central

The running of the trains

I have gotten such great advice and guidance here, I thought I would share my latest project. The video is 7 minutes and 14 sec and this is time you will never get back should you chose to watch the video.
My first Garden Railway, my first iMovie and my first You Tube video, who says you can’t teach an old dog new tricks.

Remember before you click http://youtu.be/NXqLjOBDec4 it’s 7min and 14 sec of your life you will never get back  :), but the end is kinda cool.

Shelley

Like those New Haven units. Those are USA’s PA1 and PB1?

Shelley,

Nice video, I really enjoyed watching it - well done.

Where did you shot the sunset? I have a similar one for my screensaver I shot at Clinton town beach looking over toward Hammonasett park.

We moved from Deep River (35 years in the same house) to Northeastern Ohio in 2008. The thing we miss most in CT. is driving down to the beach to watch the sunset - the sunsets on Lake Erie just aren’t the same. Oh well, small price to pay to be closer to the grand kids.

Walter,
Thanks for the comments on my video.
The pic of the sunset was taken at the end of my street; it is over looking the Clinton Harbor.

Yes those are the USA PA/PB,maybe someday I will get to run some passenger cars behind them, but that will have to wait until the expansion, --->next spring!!!

Thanks for all the comments on the video.
The video was not hard with iMovie.
I could not have done the train part without a lot of help from people here.

Gerry and I often brought our Friendly’s ice cream cones down to the town marina and watched the sunsets - the good old days.

We’re going to be visiting Ct. in late August (first visit since we left) - we’d like to drop by and and take a peek at your railroad if you’re going to be around. If you wish you can reply off-forum.

Thanks,
Walt

Great railroad. Glad to see you have your trains running.

Sure stop by. I should be around then and the trains will most certainly be running!!! We can work out the details via e mail. My e mail should be listed in my profile.
