With the Greenback on the skids things have been getting more reasonable when buying in the USA. Not that it helps the local merchants … but they don’t seem to stock what I want anyway, so there’s no big loss.
However apart from the general hobby items, there are the books and mags! … to get straight to the point … apart from GRR and MRR mags I also buy a few others i.e. photo and video mags. Interesting proposition is what Wal-Mart does: any mag or book that lists a USA cover price one can get at the USA price in Can$. So I get the Vid and Cam mags at a good price
Which reminds me; Clambake in their wisdom discontinued listing the USA price on their mags and the Can$ cover price is still “same old, same old”. One more reason that it will be a frosty day in July when I buy a GR or MR. Of course that it just my cheap skate attitude! 
Oh yeah, got another parcel from RRS, some more Kadees to keep on working and smiling! And all kinds of other goodies to keep the projects moving along! pictures at 1/25th the usual ASAP. (Chris, that was a splendid idea!!)
