This is an interesting video.
The Mahanoy Plane was a railroad Incline plane located along northern edge of the borough of Frackville, Schuylkill County in the Anthracite Coal Region of the U.S. state of Pennsylvania.
Been on my bucket list for years and the shame of it is I’m closer to Frackville than Ken’s for KOPS.

Well, Roos, let me know when you’d like to hit that place. My Mom’s family was from up in that area, and this is the first time I’ve heard of that place.
Been up to the area and recently watched a youtuber hike up the 1/2 mile incline to go through the ruins still hidden in the overgrowth I didn’t know were up there. They’d be great to go through, but don’t think I want to go digging around through the underground portion this one showed.
Spent time in the southern half of Schuylkill County as a District Scout Executive many years ago. The old wooden breaker (Large building where the coal was received and sorted/graded.) in Llewellyn was used in the movie The Molly McGuires. Don’t know whether it still stands now.
