Lets see, post this in prototype, or operations, maybe track and trestles, no off-topic anymore.
Would have fit in General Discussion with “Railway and yet more stupid people” as a title.
But it’s nice to see that the stupid people are evenly distributed across the continents and countries.
PS some of this reminds me of my running days when one would read of yet one more runner being killed for listening intently to the walkman and running in the middle of a hilly road. Ahhh there is no traffic on these dusty country sideroads! Plus ça change … etc. etc.!
Day-umn!
Idiots are replicating.
Is the narrator wearing Darth Vader’s helmet or what ?
You don’t see the moron going back for his shoe.
Probably too busy changing his shorts

Not sure Ralph but the second guy through is wearing his “dart & evader” hat!!! LOL The Regal
Almost took another moron out of the gene pool…
You have to wonder how they live long enough to replicate and keep their genes in the pool.
I guess it’s like driving and coming across a really slow driver. Ever notice that they’re always in front of you? How did they get there?

Richard,
Those guys are in it for the long run; they start really early and are still at it when others reached their destination a long time ago.
Last january, a near-neighbour knocked down and instnatly killed a cyclist on our unlit country road. The bike rider had come straight out of a lane in the pitch dark right into the pick-up going by at around 80kph - well within the 100kph limit, BTW.
The victim was on a dark blue and dirty old bike, he was wearing black pants and a black top with a woolly hat underneath his pulled up hood.
And listening to his iPod - the only noise after the crash came from that - buried, with the other half of the guy’s head, in the radiator of the pick-up.
No lights, nor reflectors on the bike, and no protective clothing on him either. And although it was almost midnigh, he was wearing a pair of near-black Raybans.
Suicide by pick-up?
The neighbour felt pretty bad about it for a week or so, then resigned himself to the fact that it was going to happen to this guy sometime, and it just happend that he was the one who did it, and has since quite gotten over it.
Bikers at night petrify me on the roads hereabouts.
