Well it had to happen sooner or later. We received our first snow of 2013 although only a lite dusting its still snow. Enjoy!!!

You guys can keep the snow, thank you. I’m still not even close to done with my 100+ day battle with leaves. I have many varieties of Maple that start dropping leaves in late August and don’t finish until mid December. Last year we got heavy snow before all the piles were picked up. Then stayed until spring.
When I lived in Alaska, we could watch winter approach as the snowline crept down from the mountain tops… Now we have to watch it on the map as it comes erratically down from the North…
It would be great if you could state what state/territory your living in… Not that we want the snow…

bet it’s comin’ this way.
I’m almost closed in for the weather on the new train building. Would have been nice to get some rails down before winter set in. Looks like it maybe next year to run a large consist outside for me. Back to the basement!!!
Wait, the weather’s on the news and he’s sayin’ almost 60 degrees!!

It seems the leaves are taking longer then usual to fall off. I need a few good windy days to get the rest of the leaves off the trees. We really lacked in wind this fall. Im hoping to be back running soon.
