We are all clear this is a model of a steam engine, with a Piko 0-4-0 motor block underneath? I’m not a fan of smoke generators as they don’t look very realistic.

So, of the stuff I can see, he might use paper shop towels, pink foam rubber and something very toxic, because of the fan. I see the coffee cup and are those garden tools and then a battery drill motor? Going to be interesting.

Nope, not on this build but they are hand placed one by one in the field while rebuilding .

Sucks …The CVRR shops blew the rivet patterns on the end panels because they were in a rush to get them done as they “thought” they had a plan!
SO after debauchery night (last Friday of the month) the CVRR crews will be putting in overtime this weekend.

About 1350 hand placed rivets per cab so far but who’s counting.
The uglier the better!

Nothing fancy Ric, only working with materials on hand and basic simplicity. “HINT”…large rivets are a dulled tip on an 8d finish nail and small rivets are a 4d finish nail with the heads cut off so they will fit true into the chuck. Once again this is a “KITBASH” and like the American Indians I will try and waste nothing!
