The ER&I passenger train

A little rail fanning recently. My RR (The Elk River & Idaho) finally added passenger service. The Baggage car was made by using two LGB combines. One LGB passenger car was modified for open air, and the coach, open gondola and caboose are out of the box repaints.
A friends (QR RR) three stock cars are ground up scratch built, board by board. One is a double decker.

Do you have sound in the cattle cars for when you want to hear them ?
Very nice !

No sound, but maybe some manure splattered down the outside walls might be added.

A fine looking passenger train. I like the custom open air car. It looks like one I built years ago and even had the how to published in Garden Railways magazine. :grin:

Ah, John;

Saw one of these in an issue of the English magazine Model Railways. so I had to model one in OO. I love how the magazine’s editor opined that it was “festooned with bovine calling cards.”

Best, David Meashey

We call those who are adept at BS, or well studied in the art… Bovo-Fecologists

I now want to model this Dave! Will that make me a bovo-feco-ferro-equinologist?

Being a sub specialist is sort of appealing.
