The Holiday Inn Holidome has once again come through with a fair rate for the 2007 East Coast Large Scale Train Show.

I have booked a special room to hold our get-together in…at a few dollars more a night…not as big as last years’ double room…sorry.

Regular rooms are available at $94…just say that you are with the East Coast Large Scale Train Show.

The hotel has refurbished all of it’s rooms, and has a new restraunt/Bar complex.

The hotel is the closest to the fair grounds and is also the closest to the
“Starlite Diner Restraunt” The place where everyone goes for breakfast.

  Ric can even bring his dog to this hotel.......!!!!!!......and Ric's dog is one fussy, class act of a dog.

The dates of the show are Friday March 30th, and 31th; both days 09:00-16:00
…not open Sunday.

The anual party will be held on the evening of Friday, the 30th…at the hotel…Early Bird "Primer will be held in the late afternoon of Thursday March 29th, in the bar…see you all there.

“Millie”, who some think is named after EBT’s #12 Mikado, and is just as black, is really quite fussy. Those that have tried to make friends with her will attest to this. In fact, if you guys remember she boycotted the last party and went in the other room to be by herself. What can I say, she only barely tolerates me.

Thank you Fred for your energies and hospitality, it is certainly appreciated. Its interesting as to how these years progress. Just a change of one number and another bottle of rum. Most of the good season is ahead of us and I’m already looking forward to next Spring.

People shouldn’t be allowed to have this much fun.

Dang - And I haven’t even booked my room for October at EBT yet :frowning: and you want me to think about April 2007?

I suppose I’ll have to get to it quick. I brought home the map last year and kinda wanted to get one of those poolside rooms for the kid.

OK, Fred…check those dates again. Friday cannot be both the 29th AND the 30th. :wink: I suspect the show will be on Friday the 30th and Saturday the 31st.

I’m going to assume that the party will be on Friday, March 30, as indicated.

Not sure if I’ll do two nights again, but will certainly be there for the annual party…which could be Friday. :slight_smile: Probably just do the show on Saturday, the 31st.

OK. I’m in. Thanks for the reminder, Fred. I think I’ll drive up Friday sometime, do the show Saturday morning and head back that afternoon. Looking forward to seeing everyone, again!

The change of the show dates will create a difference in what we do, but actually should not impact the fun too much. It actually may cause more people to explore the EBT or other local railroad venues on Sunday. We are scheduling the trek.

Trying to talk Jan into the SELSTS, also. Since we will be passing the Fairgrounds in Perry on Thursday and they open on Friday. I guess I could have the “Timesaver” in the van for a week in Tampa, while I attend a Marina Conference.
