Finally got time to copy and read your article, great job - “hit home " pretty good. I’m one of those 40 year HO’ers who came over to Largescale and is trying to make 'operation” the key element of my outdoor railroad like it was on my 18 year old HO layout where 5 to 10 men twice a month enjoyed operating a model railroad in prototype manner. Whereby the HO layout included running 15 trains over a 4 hour period my outdoor layout is strictly a 1 to 2 train shortline operation. Hope to see more articles like yours published in the future.
