I figured I’d start this as a single “go to” place for folks to beg, or offer, bits for this year’s challenge. TRADES ONLY - No sales …even if you gotta work out a 3 or more way swap.

On that note, Vic sent me two F (or mebbe E?) unit body shells with the cabs and much of the fiddly bits removed, if anyone needs those.
(Edit: these are gone - Shawn Fields seemes to have a desire to construct a Frankendiesel!)

I could STILL use a few (3 or 4) pulleys, similar to Ozark’s 5052 (about 1" in dia) and a largish firebox door

I’ve got a few sets of 8 axle depressed center flat cars on the work-bench (under the pile someplace) Well Ok I’ve got the truck bolster spans and the wood cores for 4 the flat cars) I’ve got a stash of plastic to skin the wood and make most of the ribs etc. as well as trucks with metal wheels set aside for one of these. I’ve even got an HO scale model to build from along with the plans in an older RMC magazine. What I lack is the brake wheel and air tank. Can anyone hlep me out? I’d even be willing to trade a wood core and a set of bolsters or something else to be determined?

Marty made one years ago that apparently he traded to Rex Ammerman? Photos on the Aristo website.

Can anyone help a brother out?

What dia brake wheel? I might have a couple USA Trains type plastic ones with the plastic stub shaft here someplace. I might have a couple air tanks from bug maulers, too. come to think of it… but I don’t need a depressed flat… thing are already flat and depressing enough around here :stuck_out_tongue:

I geuss what I’m looking for is a more modern Brake wheel & Air cylinder like something off USAT? I should go look at ANAKRAMER on Ebay I suppose?

I’m looking for (8) 4 sets of 2 LGB type spoked metal wheels. enough to do one two truck car. Bachmann Spoked pilot wheels also might work.
