I liked going to the BTS when it was held on the old rusty boat in Long Beach and I was there almost every year until they moved. Such a shame as we have a lot of phun chatting out in the parking lot by the live steam tracks or on the boat in the piano bar room. Times do change and it seems that change is not always good. I really miss those times.

Does Yogi Wallace come to this show? I would like to meet him since I have used several of his ideas to some success.
Yogi was at the SWGRS meet at the fairgrounds two shows ago.
Live steam indoors? …the old Fire Marshall must have retired :lol:, as they had a Fit at the first BTS there about the live steamers even being outdoors, under a outdoor tent structure that by code is required to have a Class A fire rating. Even the tent dissappeared the following year and if I remember the Fire Marshall had another Tizzy Fit about the portable shade structures the guys were using so they didnt get baked into charcoal brickets by the hot mid-day sun. Go figure sheesh talk about overkill.
