Yesterday evening I spliced all 20 rails (5 tracks, each in two halves with 2 rails per track) together with rail joiners and made the two halves of Cassville Yard a whole. Got two wheelbarrows of ballast on it and spread before the monsoon struck. Guess I’ll let things dry and see how much mor it needs!
