How can any one who lives in Deer Park see that much water except in the bathtub?? Number two do you have any idea how fast they can travel underwater?? No, I did not think so! Me I did not go the sea at all, in a ship that sinks intentionally or doenāt either way you gota have a screw loose some where!
Paul
Ken, Thatās a surface ship.
Oh, OK!
Paul, I spent about six years of my 22 year career actually underweigh with the US Navy. I know what big water looks like.
When I retired, I walked inland with an oar over my shoulder. As soon as some kid said, āHey Mister, what the heck is that on your shoulder?ā, I knew that I was home.

I heard the night time races are absolutely fascinating. Good thing there were no subs in Switzerland.
Never let the truth interfere with a great story. I just hope this is true. It deserves to be.
As a young lad, John Smith would often take his dates to watch the Submarine Races from the campus of his university on the Great Lakes.
Many years later, as the Skipper of a US Nuc-u-lear Submarine, he transited his boat up the St Laurence and into the Great Lakes to attend somebodyās Fleet Week. Having an extra day, he added an extra stop, just off the submarine race viewing point of his old campus.
Imagine the consternation created when his boat surfaced just offshore at sunset, sat on the surface for a minute or so, then quietly slipped beneath the waves.
I really enjoy diving.
