Mind you , my antecedents moved to civilisation long ago . Mining engineers , they moved via Cornwall (tending tin mines) to Birmingham , tending and designing machinery for use in the tin mines and then designing aircraft bits (Dunlop) Airship bits (Dunlop) , machines for making bits of cars , motorbikes , and I always maintain that the best engineers in the world came from Wales and Scotland .
