Ditto what’s been said… Have a Happy Thanksgiving, one and all…
It is a day to over eat and be proud of it. Please don’t upset the cook.
Ric Golding said:I try hard not to do that Ric: but we have been together nearly 50 years now so we have learned each others faults and good points and above all to forgive. ;)

Happy Thanksgiving to everyone. May we all give thanks for the blessing we have. Have a great day!!!
Thanks Alan Same to you, your family and everyone here at LSC.
This year will be unique for me. We are traveling to New Hampshire to be with my son Matthew and his girlfriend. My first ever Vegetarian Thanksgiving :o
I told Matt that I was bringing a cooler with turkey sandwiches and that he would just have to excuse me when I need to go outside for a “smoke” !
Have a safe and happy Thanksgiving all. And Jon I do believe I’d have to join you for that smoke break, Maybe set up an outdoor table for the likes of us.

Jon, I’ll try to figure out how to Fedex you a drumstick with allthefixin’s (I think that is one word). I guess, if you make it a smoked turkey sandwich, nobody can even challenge you. Remember BEER can be a vegan thing. I’m kinda of sorry that Matt went to the dark side (however I understand the thing of young love). I’ve almost lost a daughter to that. However, my son is butchering bambeye (is that plural for bambi?) tonight, so I guess it all balances out. He did 11 last year with his neighbors on the night before Thanksgiving, counting the one his wife got with the car last week, I wonder how many they will do this year? There will be a report tomorrow as we enjoy some of last year’s sausage, before the turkey. Its great to watch the daughter turn green in disgust as the rest of us chow down.
So Jan wants to know how do you get a vegetarian turkey, is it tofu? Does it still make you sleepy? Inquiring minds do want to know. Do say “HI” to the big guy and let him know he can give thanks any way he wants.
WOW! Jon, a veggie Holiday.
We have turkey here at Easter and Christmas but I know roast chicken and a lovely meal is on the cards for tomorrow. No punkin pie but probably apple pie.
Happy Thanksgiving to all.
We started this year with one teenage daughter left at home. Since we were used to having children around, we invited a wonderful young lady from Brazil to spend the school year with us through the AFS foreign exchange program. It will be her first Thanksgiving celebration.
My oldest daughter recently moved back home and one of our two college girls is home for Thanksgiving.
So we have a full house for Thanksgiving, and are enjoying it. Our daughter in Florida and son in Michigan are missing the fun this year
Today my wife and the girls picked out a Christmas tree and spent the day decorating it.
I’m looking forward to the Detroit/Greenbay game tomorrow.
And I’ll be giving special thanks that there will be meat on our table
Ralph
Happy Thanksgiving guys!
Ralph, you said -
“Today my wife and the girls picked out a Christmas tree and spent the day decorating it.”
You put up a tree already? Your the reason all those Christmas decorations are out. My LORD, let’s get through the food before we start on the next Holiday. Is it a real tree? That baby is a crispy critter by Christmas.
Ric Golding said:Of course it's a real tree :) Usually we put it up the Saturday after Thanksgiving. We cut a fresh one and they last just fine through Christmas. But this year we are going to one of our daughter's home for dinner on Saturday as she won't be able to be here tomorrow. I think the couple of extra days should be OK ;) Ralph
Is it a real tree?
That’s impressive. Our last real tree was around 1990, because the needles kept getting all over the track.
Short and sweet…Happy and Healthy Holiday to all!

Have a safe and Happy Holiday

Happy Thanksgiving everyone. I wont be having Thanksgiving, instead I will be working keeping everyone safe. It will be left overs for me. Thats the worst part about my job missing most holidays with my family (I do get every other x-mas off though)
Ralph we like to put our tree up just after Thanksgiving as well. We use a fake tree because my wife is very sensitive to scented things (volcalcord disfunction).
Shawn said:Well I have the morning open as were eating elsewhere this year(bout' time somebody else cooked for once)? I could drive up to your park in the AM ...get lost and fall down a cliff so you could find me, feed me turkey jerky and granola bars until the fleet arrives? I would have to be home by no later than 4PM though? Stay safe ;)
Happy Thanksgiving everyone. I wont be having Thanksgiving, instead I will be working keeping everyone safe. .
