Testors Decal System

I’ve looked and I am sort of amazed that I cannot find a website where folks are sharing decals created using this software. Anyone know of one?

John,

have not heard of it, many of us just used Stan C. to make one off decal sets.

do you have a link to the software?

It’s a bit deceiving, because the basic set is like ten bucks then another ten or so to upgrade it.

But, it looks like it has some promise, and I scoured around the internet figuring some one had created some freeware artwork, but I have not found it yet.

For making decals, I turn to the tool I use for anything that goes to anything that looks like paper: Microsoft Word.

(Open Office looks interesting)

I just use Appleworks on my Mac. I haven’t done anything fancy yet but I may start playing with the drawing program. I haven’t seen any artwork either.

One of the “Standard Colors” is a reasonably close approximation to “PRR Tuscan.”

For the gold Asylum Valley N&D lettering on my coaches, I just printed white letters on black background and put the decal over gold paint.

yeah I just got my hands on a large McCloud River Railroad shield and I’m going to scan it in and mess around with the sizing. see if I can make some MCRR decals.
