I was surprised not to find to many live steamers for sale. I forget the name of the on stand I couldn’t get anyone to wait one to help me there. They had a 0-4-4 Forney green in color. Another stand had a used Ruby with a dent and a wooden box for $450. I couldn’t find any kits. I didn’t see any Roundhouse items at all. I couldn’t even find the ROOSTER. I visited the live steam tracks @ the ECLS Show on Friday, 3/25/11. Then I found Temptation Table. I found this table which I called Temptation table. On this table they had various brass fittings, a plantation live steam loco(left), Climax(center), and a Forney Loco(right). I stopped @ this area 3 times. The plantation loco was nice. I really liked the Climax B, and the Forney 2-4-4 really appealed to me also. They told me to talk to Bob, he knows all there is to know about the wares. Well it turned out the Climax was out of my wallet. The plantation loco was nice, but I liked the Forney a little better. The loco that I got was behind door #3 the Forney 2-4-4. I even got a lesson on set up and operating. The little Forney ran like a champ. It was even easier to carry the engine to the car because my wallet was so much lighter. Thanks Bob for all your help.
