Just found out on MLS, due to health concerns, as a few of you know David the organizer had heart surgery recently, then this was posted on Facebook

Would the guys running at the Fairplex layout also be cancelled?
Gary I dont know, in the years past the Fairplex Layout would be open specifically for the show, the Fairplex guys even had an “open” day so to speak, for folks from MLS to schedule time to run their trains on the Fairplex Layout, I did it the year before I began bringing the pizza.
They are usually open weekends most of the year but November it could be raining or very cold so I dont know whether it will be “business as usual” for them now that the show is cancelled.

I’ve run on the open days at Fairplex since early 2010. I thought Stan had mentioned that there would be open days this year (connected with SWGRS). But maybe the Fairplex layout folks will cancel along with the show. Bummer.
I hope David gets better and works things out with Fairplex. Even though the show was a bit small, Ive enjoyed it. But the pizza layout has to go… Just kidding.

Yeah Its sad to not do the show this year, but hopefully next year will be back, health before trains
