Large Scale Central

Sure is quiet in here

Kinda drafty, too. There’s even a few cobwebs on the ceiling.

Sad they had to close the Station down.

What?
Don’t like tea?

Vic,

I’m reasonably sure that “in here” refers to the OFF-Topic section. This section being quiet suits me just fine.

I have been curled up with this http://www.oldpulteney.com/home.php which is nice, unlike Wick itself.

I drove through it on my Lands Ends to John O Groats day.

Its a Karsey

to me it seams kinda quiet on the other pages too…like everyone is just lurking instead of participating

We are afraid we might offend someone.

Oh and I thought it could be that even the “Off-Topic” section benefits from the removal of two very contentious “themes”.

It would seem there are more than two themes that are verboten now.

I did a search back to the early discussions in OT soon after all the acrimony began to see what the “tone” was of previous discussions. All seemed to be in agreement to one side of the issues, now not discussed. My opposing voice stirred the pot.

My apologies have been expressed for participating in the ad hominen attacks.

But if no one talks, the forums become about a usefull as having a Toastmasters club in a Monastary…shhhhhhh!

Well, that is what censorship does. Be careful what you ask for, you might just get it!

Exactly two themes. ;)

Okay only two, but politics has a pretty large tent with a lot of strange animals underneath. Would you agree that almost any topic-of-the-day has developed a political connection of some shade?

I guess nobody can think of an off-topic topic that doesn’t involve politics or religion. Perhaps I’ll suggest some:

Food
Bheer
Kids
Family
