It’s my fault you run superliners in the East? And have a stack of viewliners that don’t seem to run?

It looks like your track is WAY too smooth for the viewliners…

What…CVRR trackage sucks?

The stock holders need to step it up a bit!

Rooster, that is one beautiful train.

I got one for you. Just this morning a few hours ago I was on my way to Fort Morgan for my daughter’s volleyball tournament up there, and guess what, I saw a southbound Amtrak train of four passenger cars, and, on the end, an old-time heavyweight passenger car, a red one. I wish I could remember the name of the car and I wish I had a picture, but I was driving 80 mph up Colo. 76. The car wasn’t one with the rounded pointed end on the back, but I saw in my rear view mirror it had two last-car lights burning. It was an Amtrak locomotive too.

I could see through the windows and there was no one in the car, and it had somebody’s name painted in gold on the side, darn, I wish I’d written it down. Maybe it was being transported to some preservation point, don’t know.

No, whatever Amtrak rides on sucks…

On our recent train trip to New Orleans I was in the upper berth and I swear the engineer was trying to make me fall out. I tell friends that the train ride was a once in a lifetime experience, but we had to do it twice.

Bring back the heavyweights. All that ballast in the floor tends to smooth things out.

Dang Rooster, those are great looking!!! Just read the entire thread, and even with all the missing pictures , that is one cool build, a great rain to watch run on your layout. Awesome job building them
