I bought this 6volt cap to use with a Phoenix 97 sound card and I’m wondering what do I need to make it work? Is it as easy as soldering a wire to each end then plugging it in to the board or do I need a diode etc?
Are there diagrams or maybe a how to video?

That looks suspiciously like a stack of 5 rechargeable batteries…
1.2 volts times 5 = 6 volts.
Capacitors are not rated in milliamp hours…

My mistake. I’m not that good at electronics. I bought this to go with the Phoenix card since it calls for a 6v rechargeable battery. I was just wondering how I should hook it up to get it to work for that.

yep, be sure to get polarity right… (check with meter, be sure of wiring of plug)
