I got tired of finding out my cordless drill was not charged every time I wanted to drill one hole in something. I thought about the various pin vise that I have and then remembered I have a couple spare keyless chucks in my stuff. Voila, one super-sized pin vise!

You need to upgrade that ancient Ryobi to Lithium batteries. They will hold a charge for months and months! 
It won’t help if you only need it once a year! 
That’s pretty cool. I’d also use it to hold an oversize bit when I need to deburr smaller holes.
