While painting my Baggage Car and Observation car I also knocked out the Sunny View Depot. It is a Korber kit. What I like about Korber Kits…they are very sturdy, simple and go together fast. What I don’t like about Korber kits…frequently missing or wrong parts. Had this problem with two out of three kits. This is not good, considering how few parts each kit has. The station came with the wrong platform. It came with the “Elmer Station” stone platform instead of the wood “Centerville” platform that matches the door landing. Since I’m looking forward to painting 48 windows green on the J/S cars, I decided all red windows were just fine on the station. The kit came with 1 bench. I have since painted the bench ends red. That is a fine looking station Sir.

Must be a miss right now?
Oh well I’ll check back later
Miss here too. I’ll have to check back. Notice most posts using the ForumFiles for photos are not displaying pictures this morning.
Boy, the server must be really broke! HJ, what did you do?
Looks like even today no pictures.
That is a sweet looking station, Ralph. Bravo Zulu! Yes, the server is back up.
Woo Hoo!!!
Ralph, a wonderful station… Finally got to see the picture…
I like that station. Nice size. Im thinking something like that might work on my RR. I have to look into getting one and paint it a more rustic backwoods color.
Here it is with the correct platform. I had bought an extra to extend the platform. I still am trying to decide on what to do with the platform and door landings. I don’t like the molded gray color. Once all the parts are painted, it takes about 10 minutes to put the station together. Ralph

Nice addition Ralph Looks good. I like the idea of company colors as is gives a connection to the overall
Cool!!!
Looks great Ralph!
Cute!! A darker gray would look good on the platform. Give a more used appearance…

That looks great Ralph. I really like your color combination, and the benches look much better with the red ends.
Super job

Take some sand paper to the boards to creat the grains and paint it tan with gray in it. Kevin did that to his flats and posted it some time ago. I used that idea it looks very good.
While looking through my pictures to find something for an avatar, I came across this picture.

I’m not sure I like the shrunken version, but it looks great as “wallpaper” on my computer. Ralph
I like it. I think the Avatar works too.
