The guys had some time to take the Mogul out along the new outer loop before the thunderstorms and flash floods hit. The Mogul is slowley getting a more weathered/used look to it.
Then the guys had to call it a day as the storms were starting to roll in.

Dan so far the RR is holding up great. I figure if it can withstad a tornado 200 yards from my house, multiple blizzards, hurrican, tropical storm and some big thunder storm events, it will survive anything else nature can throw at it (I hope). As I type this we are getting hit with storm number two for the day. Nice lighting show outside.

I have followed your layout since you posted the first pictures a couple of years ago, and am impressed with the evolution. I wish I had your green thumb for the plantings and a few rocks to work with (Florida panhandle is SAND). I will probably use broken concrete in lieu of rocks because it is available.
Your eye with a camera is just as amazing. You know just how to tell a story with the lens. GREAT RAILROAD!
