very nice Shane, lots of different locos and trains. sounded like the intermodals were going over a closed switch. and at 12:10 I thought the o train in the background was going to hit the one rolling past.

Thanks Pete. It’s actually the rear of the points that don’t line up correctly. I took some pliers to it at the end of the night, and I think it’s a little better now. My other switches are all perfect. This one was slightly flawed from the factory.

Congrats on all your work Shane, pretty amazing! As I model mainly the 50’s and early 60’s, I love your Aristocraft double-door 40’ box car seen at 1:06. Have you made the decals or you’ve got it done by someone else? ('cause I’ld like to get one!) Thanks!

Thanks Yves. The markings are all painted. I cut paint masks into sticker paper using a Silhouette Cameo. I can share my files with you if you know somebody that can cut them. If not, I could also send some to you if you DM me your address.

It looks great full screen on my big Samsung monitor :smiley:

My first attempt failed because my editing software down converted it to 1080p. That’s what ya get with free software!

Thanks Jon. I had to use new software as well. It’s going to take me some time to learn everything about it, and boy, are the files big. :open_mouth:

Nice video.

As a narrow gauge guy, the trains seem too fast. In your defense, I live near the NS Pittsburgh Sub where US-22 parallels the double track main for several miles. I have paced the double stack trains at over 60 MPH! Keep on truckin’ !!!

A very wet summer hasn’t allowed me to do much. :open_mouth:

To make matters worse, I just lost my main computers hard drive, which has resulted in the loss of many photos and videos. I’ve managed to access it a few times using a special recovery cloning box, but it hasn’t been stable enough to clone, and so far I have recovered only a handful of files.

So sorry to hear that, Shane. Have you looked into sending the drive to a recovery service? I don’t know if that’s viable, but it might be worth some inquiries.

Thanks Cliff. I’m just not sure that it’s worth it, though I would like to get the old computer back up and running for internet use.

All of my CN work videos and photos which could never be replaced are safe.

Maybe I’ll visit a local shop and see what it would cost.

Jon, come out west 2 mile long double stack Z ( high priority ) trains are allowed 70 mph. Wild to see 2 going opposite directions flying like that
