Stuff I'm selling at Marty's

Okay, some stuff did not sell at Marty’s. Thought I’d give this one more chance, then go to ebay.

My D&H Shark and psgr cars.

This was taken before the grills/etc were put on. $750

Wood D&H streamliner cars(1/32) with Gary Raymond BB pickups, spreads the electrical pickup over 12’. D&H lettering and no’s. $250

Challenger in 1/29. One I made from two Pacific drives, includes a scratch built centipede tender. Little weathered from this shot. $400

USA Cars: Pipe Load, Ext Vision UP caboose, two UP boxcars, different #'s. All with metal wheels and Kadees. $40 each

Hi Jerry

The mention of wooden passenger cars, very nice btw, caught my attention. New to the larger scales, are the cars scratchbuilt? by you,or from a kit…

thanks
Paul

They were built by a Nebraska Modeler, Jerry Hall. He does them for architects and lawyers and presentation pieces. These are some early ones he did for a restaurant that went out of business. I bought them at the auction. Had wood trucks and wheels even, plus a Burlington northern steam locomotive, all wood also. I put Great Trains trucks on them with Gary Raymond wheels and Kadees. I did the D&H lettering also on laser decal paper.

I added some stuff to the ad of things I’m selling at Marty’s.

That 2 cylinder shay is cool!! Very nice work on it.

Terry

I edited the for sale of posts about Marty’s. Sold some stuff there, stuff that is left has been marked down. Will give this a week, then put them on ebay.

Hey Jerry, I thought Marty’s deal was over last year or do you have some inside information the rest of us don’t know about.

Chuck

Jerry, I do have an interest in those D&H passenger cars, shoot me an e-mail off list if you want.

thanks, Paul

Marty is having it again next year, last weekend in Sept. The River City Railroad Club took over the preparations for it. No more banquet/etc, but a good time to run trains on a great layout.

Are the UP boxcars the 40’ modern? Body mount or truck mount on the Kadees?

Here’s what’s for sale Craig. All have metal wheels and body mount Kadees. Caboose has one truck mounted Kadee and none on the back.
