Strictly scenery and more scenery

The last day of my four day trip I had the old FS-100 rolling while doodling down the Trans Canada Highway. The camera is mounted on the useable “remains” of an ancient tripod. Still not as steady as I would like it, I need a floating self-stabilizing mount.   Naturally at a budget price.

Anyway for what it’s worth

The tune that I looped is called “The Endless Mountains” by Wayne Gratz; no, I didn’t loop it scientifically, I leave that for next time. :stuck_out_tongue: :stuck_out_tongue:

You need a stabilized mount and a shiny new Corvette to mount it in, it sure looks like you are slow…

Pretty scenery though I wouldn’t want to drive my Vette there in the snow.

Beautiful country. I’m envious.

Beautiful country.
Too much traffic…

Jim,
My car buddy’s shiny new Vette rides rougher than my red truck.
He’d need two stabilizers…

That’s because the Gummint Motors Chevy is a lot like the Morgan. All the suspension is in the seat.

Jim,

Good points!

Now as to the real reality (hmmmm redundancy somewhere?): we were on a little outing today - a circle route - and the roads were a bit rough. The tripod would pick up the vibe and the tilt lever would amplify it. First Solution … a roll of paper towels which was soon replaced with a roll of toilet paper - smaller and slightly more spongy.

Just got home so I haven’t looked at the results, yet, but going on the “relative vibration” it should be considerably better. I hope!

On the Corvette business, why do you need two? I gladly accept one to help improve the videos. :stuck_out_tongue:
