Jeremy sent me plans for a footplate for the Stirling. I added the metal duct tape and rivets when I made it. Just for grins.

Yes, it is hinged. Jeremy, in the UK, sent me plans. ‘Hinge’ is a piece of plastic tubing cut into 3 pieces, two are glued to the loco, one to the footplate and a metal rod put through. Makes a nice hinge! He also got the UK type brass parts for me.
