Steel composite box car end

Does anyone know of someone who casts 1:20.3 steel boxcar ends, the dimpled or ridged kind?
I want to build a 1:20.3 composite box car, standard gauge.

this would be where I’d start:

John,

There are several suppliers who have access to plastic ‘rapid prototyping’ machines, which can produce a 3-dimensional model from a drawing. Bob Hartford at Hartford Products indicated he caould make moulds from them and cast parts. So all you need is a drawing.

How come? :) :) Lets start a new correct scale.

Lets model with rubber rulers and crayons to mark our increments!
I’m in!

Meaning the ends I cast are 1:20 NG, not SG…

They are pretty darned close to standard gauge in 1/24 which was a good thing for me !
