Steamup at the East Broad Top RR. Oct 8-9

I just found out that I will be working in PA next week. I have arraigned it with my wife to go early and attend the East Broad Top Fall Spectacular on Saturday and Sunday.
Here is the good part I will be taking my portable steamup track. If you are attending and can bring a steamer you are welcome to use the track.
Right now I don’t know where I will have the track setup but it is about 15’ X 25’ so you shouldn’t miss it.

Here is a great opportunity to run our models at the real RR.

Cool!
BTW Welcome Robb

Welcome Aboard! The Fall Spectacular of the East Broad Top is a great experience and shows the railroad off at its best.

The track and trains are loaded in the van. I hope to make it to the EBT by 5:00 PM Friday.
Thanks for the welcome. I have been a lurker for a while.

Here are photos from today at the EBT.

In the last photo the real #12 can be seen at the station. It was out in honor of it beeing 100 years old.

Cool. Wish I could have been there.

I wish I would have known about it before hand I would have gone.

David - Every "Columbus Day Weekend", get it on your schedule for next year. We were fortunate enough to be there on the last time "Millie" ran and at that time, I think, there were 4 of the steamers still running, plus M-7 and, my favorite, M-1. Its a great experience.

Robb,
Thank you for posting the pictures.
The EBT is still on my “to do” list.
Ralph

Ralph, make it happen and this is the weekend to go.
